Founder's bio

Blanca Bleis studied International Business in Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and graduated in Parsons Newschool for Design (New York), one of the most iconic schools of arts & design in the world.

After that, the Madrid-born designer is recruited by the newyorker brand Proenza Schouler and by that time the need of creating a personal brand grows inside her. In 2017 after completing her studies, she creates Bleis Madrid with a purpose: to bring back hand finished women's tailoring.

NYFW

In 2018, the 7th of September, Bleis Madrid was shown atNew York's Fashion Week(NYFW) at the well-know Piers 59 studies in Chelsea. An emotional event, as it was the first anniversary of the brand on the same city were Blanca graduated in Parsons two years before.

Soho

Bleis Madrid was very present in New York. For a year, all their garments were display in West Broadway street in New York's soho. A space were women's tailoring was shown at its best.

Made in Spain

Unique suits with fine shapes that combine tradition and contemporaneity. Made in Spain. All our clothing is manufactured in Spanish workshops, taking care of every detail to obtain an exquisite finish, whilst helping local artisans.

Prêt a porter

The aim for the perfect pattern represents the essence of the brand. The patterns of our prêt à porter collections are made in a standard sizing adapted to the contemporary woman giving her confidence, personality and elegance.

Circular economy and silent luxury

We believe in circular economy to help our industry becoming sustainable. We use materials from past seasons to create made-to-order suits and to avoid fabric misuse In Bleis Madrid we aim for timeless pieces, those that live and age with us. Unique pieces that will always stay with us thanks to the quality of each fabric and the attention to detail and each pattern. Garments that combine avant-garde and sophistication for an elegant and polished style.
