After finishing her International Business Degree at ‘Universidad Pontificia de Comillas’ (Madrid), and gaining comprehensive experience within the luxury cosmetics brand market, Blanca Rodriguez, born in Madrid in 1992, makes a career move oriented to design and pattern creation. En 2016, Blanca graduates in one of the most prestigious school of art and design, New York’s Parsons Newschool for Design, well-know for being the cradle of outstanding designers such as Donna Karan, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs or Alexander Wang. Later on, the Madrilenian designer signs for Proenza Schouler and, at the same time, she starts feeling the urge of creating her own brand. In 2017 she creates Bleis Madrid as a result of her personal desire of recovering women handmade tailoring. Her new brand also aims to express tradition and the contemporary nature of basic pure shapes and flawless suits.

On September 7th 2018, Bleis Madrid marched for the first time on the catwalk in NYFW at the renowned studies in Chelsea: Piers 59. A double milestone was achieved as the first anniversary of the brand would be held on the same city where two years after Blanca graduated in Parsons.
